Furnaces Exhibition 2006 Harrowgate

Wallwork Cast Alloys will be exhibiting at the furnaces exhibition in Harrowgate on 5-7 June 2006. This is an ideal oppertunity to examine the quality and innovative design of the WCA castings for use in heat treatment furnaces. The designs have been developed with over 40 years of experience of their use in heat treatment applications with temperatures up to 1250°C

Record Year for Wallwork Cast Alloys

Turnover in the last financial year at WCA has increased by a massive 70% over the previous year. Many more customers are appreciating the in house design facility, fast turnround and competitive pricing. Recent additions to the staff at WCA have enabled the company to maintain the 4-6 week delivery time with the increased turnover.

First Export Order for Wallwork Cast Alloys

Wallwork Cast Alloys is proud to announce its first export order to Pakistan. The customer has in house heat treatment facilities and was impressed with the design capability, speed of delivery and quality of WCA castings. The 8 base grids will ensure continued production at the customer's factory, producing steel fasteners. Stephen Singleton, foundry manager, said 'We are delighted to win this order against international competition. The enquiry arrived via this web site and is also our first 'e-business' order'

 

Sales increase at Wallwork Cast Alloys

Although our foundry has been producing high quality castings for over 12 years, it is only within the last 2 that we have been supplying customers outside the Wallwork Group. The design advice, 100% quality record and speed of response has ensured that a loyal customer base has been quickly established. New Vacuum Furnace Furniture Designed

Vacuum furnace grids have been produced for several years to a standarsd size of 900 X 600 mm. The new vacuum furnace at WHT Birmingham requires a grid of 1200 X 900. "Making a grid of this size has been a real challenge" said Foundry Manager Steve Singleton. The new grid design withstands temperatures up to 1300 C, loads up to 1200 Kg whilst remaining stable during its expected life of over 12 months.
